Dr. Wendy Elected International Director-At-Large of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity

Always active in promoting dentistry and health, Dr. Wendy was recently elected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. Alpha Omega provides continuing dental education for its members and improves lives in its local and global communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. Dr. Spektor is the immediate past-president of the Seattle chapter. The Jewish dental fraternity celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. No worries—her appointment to the board will not change Dr. Wendy’s office schedule. She and husband Dr. Michael Spektor volunteer for Alpha Omega on their personal time.

Making friends with the environment: Secondary water system and mercury recovery added

Spektor Dental has always been a big proponent of adding new technologies to help patients enjoy the best in dental care. A couple of recent improvements around the office are also helping the environment. We recently added an independent water system to prevent bacteria growth in our water supply. We're also helping protect the water supply with our new mercury separating system. It prevents amalgam we remove from old fillings from entering the water system and contaminating our drinking water.

Spektor Smile Store now featuring "whitening on the go" kits

There's a new way to give your smile that extra bit of flash, whenever you want it. Spektor Smile Store now offers GoSmile, a unique instant whitening product you can use anywhere, anytime. Invented by a dentist, it's effective enough to use as a complete, long-term whitening solution (as an alternative to home whitening, for example). But it's also great to carry around and use for touch-ups.
